Year 3/4H

Hello and welcome to Year 3/4H

I’m Miss Hall and I’m the class teacher. I also lead PE in our school. I’m excited to be teaching your children this year, supported by Mrs McHale, Mrs Williams, Mrs Simms and Miss Whitbread. We’re looking forward to an amazing year of learning and fun together.

Brief Curriculum Overview

We run a cyclic curriculum to ensure that all pupils have the same learning experiences with our mixed-class structure. Clink the links below to see the full overview.

Cycle A: 2027/28

Cycle B: 2026/27

Class Timetable

This timetable below outlines the subjects covered and frequency, though some changes are occasionally made.

Our Weekly Timetable

Learning at Home

We encourage pupils to read a minimum of 3 times per week to earn a sticker on their chart, which will then earn them a coin for our fantastic book vending machine. The children will also earn extra playtime on a Friday.

Spelling homework is set and tested every Wednesday via the platform Ed Shed.

Pupils are also able to access Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS) through their logins, which are in their reading records.

Additional Information

Currently, we do PE every Friday, but please ensure PE kits are in school every day.

Reading Records are signed every Friday

Fruit and/or yoghurt can be brought in and eaten as a snack at break time
